Great Holiday Events in Okotoks, AB

The holiday season has arrived in Okotoks, AB, which means we’re in line for a fantastic range of community events to keep you and your family busy throughout the month of December. While there are dozens of different things to do a short drive away in Calgary, we first would encourage you to load the family up into your  Nissan Murano and make your way over to some of the great things happening this month right here in Okotoks.

Dating back to last month, the Okotoks Art Gallery has had its “Spirit of Christmas” event running, including Christmas-themed artwork and holiday gift shopping, all hand-crafted by local artists and artisans. Also at the Okotoks Art Gallery is this year’s Tree of Warmth, which allows visitors to donate winter items like gloves and scarves, all of which find their way to local and regional charities toward the end of December.

If your children are hoping to visit with Santa Claus, the Sheep River Health Trust once again is bringing back Photos with Santa at the Okotoks Recreation Centre. From now through December 10th, you can reserve a time for your children with Santa Claus, and since these appointments are pre-booked that means no wait times!

Other events this month include the Mistletoe Market and Christmas Tree Auction on December 10, a Heritage Christmas at the Okotoks Museum, and the Okotoks Foodbank Christmas Concert on December 13-14.

Pile your family into your Nissan automobile (or pick one up at your friendly neighborhood Okotoks Nissan dealership today), and head out to all of these  holiday events in Okotoks, AB this December. We wouldn’t want our Nissan customers to miss out on any of the season’s cheer!
